Cash-free bars, even when the venue's network gets overloaded.
CashLessTap turns wristbands and NFC tags into the event's only means of payment. Your sellers charge and top up balance with or without a signal, you see the catalog and commission rules under your control, and you settle with each vendor without reconciling spreadsheets by hand.
The sale exists even when the network can't keep up.
At an event with thousands of people, a saturated network isn't the exception — it's the norm at 11pm. CashLessTap is built so that never stops a bar.
The sale is born on the device
Every charge is recorded locally on the point of sale the instant it happens. It doesn't wait for a signal to exist.
It syncs on its own when it reconnects
As soon as the signal comes back, everything pending uploads to the server without the operator having to do or retry anything by hand.
No made-up numbers
If there's no reliable way to confirm a balance, the bar says so clearly — a figure nobody could verify is never shown.
How it works in practice
The attendee tops up their balance
At a top-up point or when buying their ticket, the attendee loads balance onto their wristband or tag. The amount is transmitted in the currency's smallest unit, with no rounding errors.
They pay at any bar by tapping the wristband
No cash, no card, no looking for change. The operator builds the charge from that zone's catalog and the attendee confirms with a single tap.
The organizer sees the catalog and the rules, not guesses
Categories, products, prices by zone and time window are configured from a panel — and each vendor's commission is applied automatically according to the rule that fits.
Settlement doesn't depend on a spreadsheet
Every sale stays tied to its vendor and to the commission that was frozen at the moment of the charge, so closing accounts with each bar at the end of the event is a query, not a manual reconciliation.
- That the attendee install an app.
- That the bar have a stable signal all night.
- That the organizer trust a spreadsheet to know how much they owe each vendor.
- That changing a product's price alter what was already sold at the previous price.
Everything you solve by hand today, in one place
Catalog and pricing by zone
Define categories and products once, and build different catalogs by bar, by zone (general, VIP, terrace) or by time window — each with its own price list.
Configurable commission, not flat
Set a rate per vendor, or fine-tune it down to the product or category level. The most specific rule always wins, and the same item is never charged commission twice.
Device and point-of-sale control
Register every bar and every device at the event, assign them their catalog, and revoke access for a lost or retired device instantly.
History per wristband
Block, replace, or check the history of any tag — losing a wristband shouldn't mean losing the balance it had loaded.
Knowing what you owe each bar is a query, not a spreadsheet
Negotiate whatever commission you want with each vendor — a general rate, or a finer one by category or even for a specific product. The system always applies the most specific rule, never two rules stacked on the same item.
| Rule level | Scope | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Vendor + product | Most specific | A specific product from a brand has its own negotiated rate. |
| Vendor + category | Intermediate | A whole category (e.g. drinks) from that brand shares a rate. |
| Vendor (general) | Vendor default | That brand's default rate when there's no more specific rule. |
| Event flat rate | Fallback | Applies only if the vendor has no rule of their own in effect. |
Your event, with your brand
Your logo and your color dress the panel and the top-up points of your event, on the same platform — with no other organizer seeing your data, nor you seeing theirs.
The commission freezes, it doesn't get recalculated
The rate in effect at the moment of the sale stays fixed on that transaction forever. Changing a rate going forward never alters what was already sold.
No rebuilding everything from scratch
If you organize more than one event, or work with the same vendors across several dates, you don't reconfigure the whole platform each time.
How data and money are handled
We'd rather describe what we actually do than display a badge. CashLessTap does not hold any third-party-audited compliance certification — what follows are real engineering practices, not a regulatory guarantee.
Encryption in transit and at rest
Communication with the points of sale travels encrypted, and sensitive data is stored encrypted on the device itself too, not only on the server.
Two-factor on the admin panel
Staff access to event administration requires a second factor — a username and password alone aren't enough.
Audit log
Relevant administrative actions (catalog changes, tag blocking, commission adjustments) are logged with who and when.
Money with no floating point
Balances and amounts are handled in the currency's smallest unit (integers), to eliminate the rounding errors typical of working with decimals.
